COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Depression does not always respond to routine antidepressants and therapy. Learn how ketamine ketamine therapy is being used in clinical settings to help patients with treatment-resistant depression and other mental health conditions. Discover how psychedelic therapy with ketamine can activate the body ’s inner healing intelligence as part of a comprehensive treatment plan for mental well-being. BIO:
Dr Tejinderpal (TJ) Rai, MD is a holistic psychiatrist in South Bay of Los Angeles providing integrative mental health treatment and psychedelic Ketamine Therapy. Dr. Rai is double board-certified to treat adults, as well as children and teens by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has been in private practice since 2002. Dr. Rai finished medical school in India, where he was born and raised. He then trained in Psychiatry at Washington University in St Louis, followed by a 2-year fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at UCLA. Dr. Rai’s treatment philosophy is to help his patients move beyond absence symptoms of mental illness to feel emotionally well, since wellness is more than the absence of illness.
