Become a member - Join us
Becoming a member of the LB-SB Chapter of CAMFT is easy. Please select your membership level below and your membership will be reviewed for approval in about one week. You will receive an email updating you on your membership status. With membership, you can enjoy all of our wonderful benefits noted below, including FREE registration to virtual meetings. Please note approval of membership may take up to 5 days depending on State CAMFT Membership verification.

Benefits of Membership
As a member of the LB-SB CAMFT, you will be connected to an active and supportive network of colleagues and be provided with local continuing education events. Below are some of the benefits of membership with us.
FREE Virtual Meetings with Programs/Speakers
Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of each month. The meeting format includes a presentation by a master clinician on topics addressing the professional and business needs of our members. As a member, you receive free registration for virtual meetings when you pre-register online. You will also receive a reduced price for in-person meetings.
Peer Networking
Monthly meetings and special networking events help members to network with peers, build professional relationships and expand their referral base. Display tables are available at all events to distribute your business cards, flyers or brochures. As a member, you can also make announcements about yourself, workshops you will be hosting, job opportunities, job seeking, or any other pertinent information you would like to share.
Continuing Education- CEUs
Monthly meetings and special events feature speakers who deliver the training and information you need to hone your skills as a therapist. You receive 2 CEU’s at each monthly meeting without an additional fee. We sponsor special CEU events that cover Law and Ethics and many other topics necessary for license renewal.
Members can attend our monthly meetings to speak to colleagues on areas of expertise and interest, consult, and serve as a Chapter Officer or on the Board of Directors. You can take an active role in developing your career and improving the MFT profession by being involved. Our membership is very diverse, ranging from community mental health to private practice.
Social Activities
Members can build professional network alliances and friendships through informal gatherings throughout the year. Typically, our chapter sponsors a summer picnic and winter holiday party. Additional social events will be announced as they come up. We also have an ongoing book club that members are welcome to join.
Membership Directory
Our Chapter website provides a free interactive, electronic Membership Directory that includes names, contact information and treatment specialties of our members. As a member, you are able to update your information online and have it immediately available to the general public and your colleagues.
Listing in Therapist Search Link
Our website features “Find A Therapist,” a free electronic directory that allows potential clients to search for your services and provides you with greater professional visibility. Only LB-SB Chapter members are listed.
Member-to-Member Email Communication
Connect with over 400 colleagues through our unique Member-to-Member Email Service. Whether you are looking to share office space, announce a workshop, find internship opportunities, or need a referral, members can advertise and post announcements for free. This service also provides members with regular updates on topics relevant to our profession, and announcement of Chapter events and other educational opportunities.
Member-to-Member Facebook Page
As a member you have the ability to join our Member-to-Member Facebook page to further connect with colleagues regarding resources and referrals as well as stay up to date on events and hot topics for MFT's.
Special Email Communications
As a member, you have the ability to send special emails to our LBSB CAMFT contacts that are separate from the Member to Member emails. You can have an advertisement sent out on your behalf when you have an event or special opportunity you would like to highlight and communicate to the entire membership (fees may apply).
Professional Development

Pre-Licensed Support Services- 3000 Club
Our chapter offers pre-licensed members extensive support services through various pre-licensed focused events. The chapter provides help in finding qualified internships, mentors, and supervisors. A pre-licensed support meeting is held monthly with time and location TBD.
Consultation/Support Groups
Peer consultation and support groups may be organized around specific populations, problems or clinical orientation.
