Meet Michelle
Michelle Tangeman, LMFT, BCBA, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (mfc85890) and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Before opening her private practice in 2018, Michelle served as a Clinical Manager for an agency where she oversaw a clinical team of program supervisors and behavior technicians that provided children's behavioral treatment programs and parent training. Michelle has extensive experience in individualized behavior intervention, Functional Behavior Assessments, school- based services, family-focused intervention, early start services, and social skills training. She has provided these services to a diverse population of families across both Ventura and Los Angeles counties. In addition to her work with children, Michelle provides psychotherapy and treatment for Prenatal and Postpartum Depression and Anxiety. Michelle lives with her husband and two children in the greater Los Angeles area.
