Presenter's Bio

Cathy Himlin is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor with over 30 years of experience. A respected expert in Dependency and Family Law, she founded Himlin Consulting to improve how families, therapists, and attorneys navigate high-conflict dynamics, always prioritizing the child’s well-being. Cathy has served as a Reunification Social Worker, court officer, and educator on family dynamics and child development. She has developed structured approaches for therapists testifying in court and created trainings for legal professionals. Passionate about reducing family conflict, Cathy designed a parenting course for estranged parents and built a child-centered therapy model used in court-involved cases.
