Bios:
Artemis Tegan, LMFT is two time Past President for LBSB CAMFT. Artemis has been working in the counseling field for 25 years. Her specialty is reducing symptoms associated with trauma, including depression, anxiety, marital problems, relationship problems and addiction issues. Artemis works with children, adolescents, adults, individuals & families. Artemis utilizes mind-body approaches, including EMDR, Hypnosis, Mindfulness, Somatic Psychotherapy, Pet-Assisted therapy & Sound Therapy. Artemis also served as an embedded therapist for the CA National Guard in a Behavioral Health Pilot Program aimed at reducing suicide & domestic violence among vets. Dr. Marjorie Rand, Ph.D: Marjorie L Rand PhD has been a licensed LMFT since 1979. She has been a Master Trainer of therapists and physicians in the United States, Canada and Europe in Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP). She is the author or contributor to four books and many published professional articles. Dr Rand is one of the founding members of the United States Association of Body Psychotherapy. Veronica (Rahni) Davies, LMFT, Rahni is certified in Specialty Hypnosis for ADHD and Coaching. Rahni specializes in working with children & teens dealing with issues ranging from anxiety, depression, self-esteem, peer pressure, and academic success, to teen relationships, family conflict, and behavioral problems. Rahni has extensive experience working with school-aged children treating a variety of issues including ADHD, & adjustment to divorce, anxiety, phobias and many other child life issues. Additionally, she has expertise in addressing parenting issues and loves to help families increase their positive interactions and help them find their unique strengths. Dr.Sara Schwarzbaum, L.M.F.T & L.C.P.C., Founder Couples Counseling Associates
Dr. Schwarzbaum has been a Professor at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago as the Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Couple and Family Counseling, where she trained the next generation of couple and family counselors. She retired from that position in August 2016. She has authored numerous articles and two books. Her writing has appeared in the Psychotherapy Networker, Counseling Today, and the Journal of Multicultural Counseling, among other publications. She regularly contributes articles about love, relationships, & marriage. She speaks at couples counseling workshops for social service agencies and professional organizations and has run supervision groups for therapists who work with couples.
